Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Notably, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. Description of Service
Notably helps you organize the people you care about, receive reminders for important dates, draft personalized messages, and send physical handwritten cards through our fulfillment partners. You may optionally include a third-party gift card (such as Visa, Amazon, Starbucks, or Target) with your handwritten card; gift cards are provided and honored by their respective issuers, and their terms and expiration policies apply. Notably may apply a small convenience fee on gift-card purchases, which is shown clearly before checkout.
3. User Accounts & Responsibilities
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information (including recipient addresses) you provide. You agree not to use Notably to send unlawful, harassing, or harmful content.
4. Payment & Subscriptions
Paid plans and per-card purchases are billed through our payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; you'll retain access through the end of the paid period.
5. Handwritten Card Fulfillment
Cards are produced and mailed by trusted partners such as Handwrytten. We share only the information necessary to fulfill your order (recipient name, address, message). Delivery times depend on postal services and are not guaranteed.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the messages and content you write. You grant Notably a limited license to store, transmit, and print your content solely to provide the service. Notably's brand, software, and design are our property.
7. Limitation of Liability
Notably is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If changes are material, we'll notify you by email or in-app before they take effect.
